Artists can submit their work now through June 30. The online auction will go "live" on Wednesday, July 8, and will run for two weeks, ending on July 22.

For more information on how you can participate, call 876-0022.

Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) for-purpose, charitable organization that serves the County of Maui and has been a no-kill animal organization - "no kill" is commonly defined nationwide as a "save rate" of 90 percent of dogs and cats entering shelters - since its origination in 2011.

HARF's mission is to end animal abuse, neglect and homelessness on Maui, strengthen the human and animal bond, and create a place where people help animals and animals help people.

For Maui's animals, HARF's programs include dog and horse rescue and adoption services, and partnering with other animal welfare organizations on Maui, Molokai, Lanai and the Big Island to increase overall capacity to rescue and re-home animals.

For Maui's people, HARF partners with the criminal justice system by providing community service opportunities, conducts outreach to the community via youth education programs (such as hosting senior projects and in-classroom animal care education programs), and provides multiple volunteer opportunities for Maui residents of all ages.
