Halloween Cannery Kid’s Night returns on Oct. 31

LAHAINA - Lahaina Cannery Mall will once again provide a safe, air-conditioned place for families to enjoy spooktacular Halloween entertainment, trick-or-treating, face painting, a Halloween & Disney Character Meet n' Greet and its famous Keiki Costume Contest on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Join the crowd at Center Stage as the talented keiki from Maui Music Mission perform popular Halloween songs on ?ukulele at 5 p.m., followed by Lahaina Cannery's legendary Keiki Costume Contest at 6 p.m.

More than a dozen great prizes from Maui Toy Works and Hawaiian Island Creations will be awarded in four age groups: 0-2, 3-4, 5-8 and 9-12 years old.

Keiki can take Spooky Photos with Frankenstein with Imaging Plus Hawaii at Halloween Cannery Kid’s Night.

Come in costume! The festivities are free and guaranteed fun for the whole family!

The schedule is Maui Music Mission from 5 to 5:45 p.m.; the Keiki Costume Contest at 6 p.m.; and, from 5 to 8 p.m., trick-or-treating from store to store, Face Painting by Cirque Jolie, Spooky Photos with Frankenstein by Imaging Plus Hawaii, and the Halloween & Disney Character Meet n' Greet by Imagination Reality LLC.

Lahaina Cannery Mall also continues to host Lahaina Arts Society (LAS) every Saturday and Sunday in October from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the lawn fronting Starbucks.

Come out and talk story with LAS artists and view and purchase paintings, glass art, ceramics, photography, woodcarving, jewelry and more.

The Hawaii State Public Library System's Holoholo Bookmobile will be at Lahaina Cannery Mall on Wednesday, Oct. 30, between 1 and 3 p.m.

The bookmobile offers books for all ages, DVDs, audio books, story times, free Wi-Fi, reference help and assistance with eResources.

Printed copies of the Holoholo Bookmobile's new schedule are available at Maui Public Libraries.
