Na Honu Girls Soccer Club ties for division championship

WEST MAUI – The Na Honu Girls Soccer Club under 12 team finished in a tie for first place in their division in the Maui Futsal League (indoor soccer) on April 14 in Wailuku.

The West Side soccer club plays in Maui elite soccer competitions in both outdoor and indoor leagues year-round.

Na Honu played the Maui Girls Soccer Club for the U11 Division championship at War Memorial Gym. The teams played to a 3-3 draw, and both teams shared the championship.

Nuala Ruiz-Rockett led the team with two goals. The final goal was scored by Kamalei Keanini.

Na Honu Soccer Club was founded in 1994 and is coached by David Rockett.

It is open to girls ages 10-13 wanting to play competitive soccer on the West Side.
