Lahainaluna HOSA students advance to state contest

LAHAINA - On Dec. 3, Lahainaluna High School students travelled to Baldwin High School to compete in the annual District Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) competition.

Thirty-nine students earned qualifying scores to compete in the Hawaii Career and Technical Student Organization Convention on Feb. 26-27, 2019 at the Hawaii Convention Center on Oahu representing the Lahainaluna HOSA delegation.

Students will compete in their respective medical and leadership events in hopes of earning a top three spot in the state.

Thirty-nine Lahainaluna High School HOSA students earned qualifying scores to compete in the Hawaii Career and Technical Student Organization Convention on Feb. 26-27, 2019 on Oahu.

State winners will earn an opportunity to compete at the International Leadership Conference this summer in Orlando, Florida against the world's most competitive students preparing for a career in healthcare.
