Tickets on sale now for ‘Into The Woods’

July 26, 2018
Lahaina News

WAILUKU - Maui Academy of Performing Arts, in partnership with The Makana Aloha Foundation, will present "Into The Woods" live on stage at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater from Aug. 24 to Sept. 2, with support from Caron Barrett & Deborah Vial, Mason & Trudy Williams, Jack & Ann Marie Wilder and Sara Patton & Gary Thompson.

In the shadows of trees, curses reverse and wishes come true. Something fanciful and peculiar happens... magic! A flash of red, a basket of bread, a tall furry stranger, golden slippers, a girl on the run and a witch on a rampage over rutabagas!

A story filled to the brim with a feast of fabled characters... a little mystery, a lot of irreverent humor and touch of seduction. A journey into the woods - and into our hearts.
