Fifteen years ago, Roselani Place opened its doors as Maui's only licensed assisted living community to serve the elders of Hawaii by providing a safe and nurturing place for them to keep an independent lifestyle, while having qualified assistance available if needed.

Roselani Place also has a memory care unit that serves seniors with delicate care and concern. The experienced staff is always nearby, giving the residents and their loved ones peace of mind.

This community event is open to the public. For information, call Diane at 871-7720 or visit at www.RoselaniPlace.com.

In addition, on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., attend a Japanese Tea Ceremony (Chanoyu) demonstration to celebrate the dedication of the Roselani Place Japanese Tea Ceremony Display.

Enjoy a traditional cup of tea and refreshments while being entertained by music played on the koto, a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument.

There will also be discussion of the history of the Japanese tea ceremony in Japanese history and culture.

The tea display was made possible by donations made in memory of Hideko Zwick

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 871-7720.
