LAHAINA - Maui Lions Club and the Mauna Kahalawai Lions Club Branch invite members of the community to join them on Saturday, Aug. 26, for a special service event benefitting youth in the community.

Lions will host the third annual Keiki ID & Safety Fair on Saturday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lahaina Cannery Mall.

Parents and children of all ages are invited to attend this free event.

The fair is a great opportunity for residents to learn more about the Maui Lions Club and Mauna Kahalawai Lions Club Branch, their work and opportunities to get involved.

"We want to share the great things we're doing in our community, and let others know how they can help," said Lion Jackie Yamamoto, president of the Maui Lions Club.

The Maui Lions Club and Mauna Kahalawai Lions Club Branch will have keiki ID brochures with fingerprinting and photos, vision screenings with the Spot Camera, blood pressure readings, keiki crafts, safety information from county services and more.

The Maui Lions Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Maui Electric Company Auditorium.

The Mauna Kahalawai Lions Club Branch meets on the third Thursday each month at 6 p.m. at the Food Court at Lahaina Cannery Mall.
