Dairy Queen at Lahaina Cannery Mall is a locally owned franchise here on Maui for the last 17 years. Dairy Queen supports Kapiolani Children’s Hospital right here in Hawaii with a Miracle Treat Day every year. On Miracle Treat Day, the Lahaina Cannery Mall Dairy Queen donates all the proceeds from the day to Kapiolani Children’s Hospital. Over the last ten years, they have donated over $15,000! Miracle Treat Day brings awareness and raises funds for the hospital, where one in ten children is treated each year.

“We are passionate about raising funds to help save and improve the lives of kids treated at Kapiolani Children’s Hospital. What is great about this community effort is that the funds stay local to support Kapiolani Children’s Hospital,” said owners Patrick and Robert Mehring.

Over the last 31 years, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities through fundraising efforts, including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign and other local initiatives. This year’s Miracle Treat Day will take place in July 2016. Thank you for your support and Merry Christmas to all!
