By Staff | Mar 26, 2015

WAILUKU – All fundraising professionals are welcome to attend the Association for Fundraising Professionals Aloha Chapter’s AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course on April 14 and 21.

The workshop will be held at the J. Walter Cameron Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

“This workshop presents affordable training for Maui fundraisers that will meet the needs of new and experienced staff at the same time,” said Mike Moses, AFP Aloha Chapter president.

“We encourage anyone currently in a fundraising role or those entertaining the idea of entering the profession to attend.”

The course is developed and designed by experienced fundraising professionals to meet the real world needs and challenges nonprofit organizations face.

This 16-hour program (eight hours each day) includes case studies and projects for groups and individuals,

making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable.

The course will be taught by Maui native and professional fundraiser Cynthia Lallo and AFP Aloha Chapter Director John Ciambrone.

The cost to attend both days is $250 for AFP members and $275 for non-members. Attendees may bring their own lunch or purchase it onsite.
