Students graduate from Napili Kai Foundation

February 20, 2014
Lahaina News

NAPILI - After completing nine years in the Napili Kai Foundation, members Courtney "Keikilani" Ruidas and Nohealani Mahuna said goodbye during the show on Dec. 26 at the tender age of 16.

They had the option to continue to be active members of NKF for another two years, but they chose early graduation because sports and miscellaneous interests (in preparation for college) will be taking up a lot of their free time until they graduate from Lahainaluna High School next year.

At that time, because of their longevity with NKF, they will be eligible to come back and apply for scholarships.

"We wish them well and are thankful for all the years they, and their families, dedicated to the Napili Kai Foundation," noted Lou Ross of the NKF.

Nohealani's mom, Debbie Mahuna, continues to serve on NKF's Board of Directors.
