This summer, the organization is starting another community-oriented program with the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Working with area Rotarians, Soroptimist International of West Maui has organized the Lahaina Keiki Halloween Parade for the last 34 years.
The first annual Soroptimist International of West Maui interactive Health and Fitness Expo will take place on the grounds of Maui Preparatory Academy in Napili on July 13 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The event will kickoff with a blessing and one-mile cross country walk/run, followed by a one-mile Cross Fit fitness challenge. There will be demonstrations on the main stage throughout the event featuring, yoga, Pilates and Zumba.
This is truly an event for all ages. A Keiki Zone will feature a children's obstacle course with a mini cross fit challenge, bouncy slip and slide and face painting.

The festivities will end with a grand prize giveaway for a two-night stay at the Waikiki Miramar and Waikiki Park Hotels in Honolulu.
So set your clocks, get up, get dressed and join the Soroptimists for a walk! The first 200 families to attend will receive a free gift.
