WAILUKU - The world premiere of George Kahumoku Jr.'s "Seeds of Aloha" documentary film will be held at the Iao Theater in Wailuku on Thursday, April 4.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by live music at 7 p.m. featuring Kahumoku and friends. The film will be screened from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Directed by David Barry of Makai Studios, "Seeds Of Aloha" tells the story of an extraordinary life lived by "Hawaii's Renaissance Man," Kahumoku.
West Sider George Kahumoku Jr. is known for his aloha spirit. Filmed over a year, “Seeds Of Aloha” features Kahumoku’s recollections, along with commentary by 88 of his fellow musicians, friends and students telling his story.
