Ritz Tree Lighting to benefit homeless resource center

KAPALUA — The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua’s 17th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, “A Stocking Full of Songs,” is set for Thursday, Dec. 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Locals and guests will gather to kick off the holiday season and benefit the children of Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Center.

The event will feature holiday entertainment by the Maui Preparatory Academy Holiday Rock Band, children of Ka Hale A Ke Ola Hula Halau, Lahaina Baptist Church Choir, Henry Kapono and Amy Hanaiali‘i Gilliom.

Santa will also make a special appearance at the Tree Lighting.

Admission is free. Bring picnic blankets, beach mats and low-back beach chairs and enjoy the show.
