Children stage Polynesian shows

Napili Kai Foundation teaches local children the history, arts, crafts, language and dances of Polynesia. Every Tuesday evening at Napili Kai Beach Resort, 5900 Lower Honoapiilani Road, NKF students present a delightful program of Polynesian song and dance from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children five and under. Group takes walks

HONOKOWAI — A new walking group for all ages and fitness levels meets at Honokowai Park Tuesdays at 9 a.m. There is no charge; all are welcome. Call Jim Grode at 669-1972.

Hula shows set

Free hula shows are held daily from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Hawaiian music is played from 6 to 9 p.m. Call 661-0011.

Protect Maui’s reefs

Pacific Whale Foundation runs a free Coral Reef Information Station every Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon at Wailea’s Ulua Beach. Learn names of fish you’ve seen while snorkeling and how to protect Maui’s reefs. Call 249-8811, extension 1.

Two Rotary Clubs meet

The Rotary Club of Lahaina meets Thursdays at 11:45 a.m. at Outback Steakhouse at Lahaina Gateway. For information, call President Rick Nava at 298-3953.
